The Italian premium watchmaking house established by designer Italo Fontana. In 1942, his grandfather Ivo Fontana received an order from the Italian Navy to develop a special watch for the naval pilots. It was to be large and unusual. In 2000, Italo Fontana created a modern version of the U-BOAT: each timepiece is meticulously developed and assembled by expert watchmakers and features the Swiss-like accuracy of movement. The hallmark of these watches is a large winding crown on the left of the case. To customize each model, we use nonstandard technologies, such as acid baths and carbon fiber.
In 2019, Till Lindemann, lead vocalist of the legendary German band Rammstein, was introduced as U-BOAT Ambassador.
